Euro PS3 beta Begins

We're happy to congratulate our PS3 DCUO Brethren across the pond as they now have Closed Beta Access. More players enjoying and having the opportunity to provide feedback can only be a good thing. And on a sidenote, we'll see if servers are region-based or if we have an option. This could be an issue because latency (lag) hasn't been a problem many have reported as of yet.

Suggestion: The Trenchcoat

This clothing option's "omission" is enough to make true fans of the genre choke on whatever they were eating when they found out. It's virtually Canon for "masks". Whether it's the closed Rorschach style, or the "flailing open" option that so many people use these days, it's a clothing option that MUST be added post-release. Lord knows Green Kaoz just isn't going to be the same with his trademark jacket.

Lady Abigail defeats Bizzarro

In a startling change of events that shocked many onlookers, the superheroine Lady Abigail singlehandedly and soundly defeated the notorious Bizzarro in the middle of downtown. The overconfident evildoer was mouthy to no end until the battle started going badly. At the battle's conclusion agents of Star Labs collected the unconscious Man of Steel duplicate.

Lady Abigail spoke to the throng of reporters before whisking away on her wings:
"Oh dear..poor man did not know what hit him. Tis' sad he was in the way of my mission though, I could've sat down with him and have a rather strange conversation nonetheless."

Recently we polled numerous super-powered heroes and villains alike to find out some of the reasons why they do what they do. Some of the answers may surprise you.

Lucifer Blue Terrorizing Metropolis

The demi-human Lucifer Blue has been on a wild destruction streak as of late. Teamed with the evil goddess Circe they have slowly been attacking numerous heroes of Metropolis. Among his victims have been members of The Teen Titans and JLA including Donna Troy, Starfire, Raven, Cyborg, and Wonder Girl. Hopefully a hero will arise to take down this masked menace.

Superion battles Villains Downtown

An all-out brawl in the middle of lunch-hour downtown ended when Superion helped with the capture of several supervillains. He left the scene before being reached for comment but several inquiries have been made to determine if the popular Kryptonian has decided to make Metropolis his home.
