Doctor Fate and Lady Immolatasia Quell Chaos In Tomorrow District

The Sentinels of Magic and Doctor Fate were aided yesterday afternoon by the mysterious Lady Immolatasia, a newcomer into the streets of Metropolis and powerful sorceress. The heroes responded to a distress call in Historic District, when it was reported that the spell-wielding goddess, Circe, stole the Crown of Nyx, a priceless and dangerous Grecian artifact.

The duo of Fate and Immolatasia arrived at The Metropolis Museum of art, confronted by the Goddess’ illusory magic. Many of the male patrons were transformed into bestiamorphs, which the group were forced to subdue. The group proceeded then into an illusory realm constructed by Circe’s magic.

“I’m glad to have worked with such a reliable group,” Lady Immolatasia said, “Circe’s magic is rather strong, that I’m rather happy the good Doctor was by my side.” Circe’s powers proved a challenge for the sorceress, but the duo overcome; Doctor Fate’s intervention combined with Immolatasia’s superior martial skills and elemental magic succeeded in subduing Circe. “It’s not always I have to confront beautiful goddesses, the mirror notwithstanding.” The Lady Immolatasia said.

Doctor Fate commented admirably on his ally, claiming that her recent work as an advisor to the Sentinels of Magic has shown her credibility. “I don’t know very much about The Lady,” Doctor Fate said, “But I understand she keeps a guarded past. Despite that, her heart seems to be a righteous one, and her will powerful.”

The suspect evaded capture, but The Crown of Nyx was safely retrieved. The crown will temporarily be placed under watch of The Sentinels of Magic and Doctor Fate until its magical wards can be reaffixed and the object placed under further security. Meanwhile, The Lady Immolatasia will return to her newly opened magical shop, ‘Madame Immolatasia’s,’ and continue to fight for the city as a superhero.

“I have little doubt she’ll be back.” Lady Immolatasia said, “I do know that I am fortunate to offer what I can for the Sentinels and to the city. Certainly, it’s an opportunity, to be an adviser; one that I have no plans to squander.”
