"Burn" use may be more Widespread than originally thought

With evidence now that several so-called heroes may be "Burn" addicts as well, many in the community are concerned that the use of the dangerous power-enhancing drug may be more widespread than originally thought. Sources now tell us that members of the JL are now searching for Metropolis superheroes Peter Petrelli and OmegaLight in connection with heavy use of the banned drug. S.T.A.R Labs has beefed up its antidote production, but questions persist about what the SOE branch of the FDA is doing to stop this problem at its core.

Will our city streets be flooded with brain-dead and crazed superhumans on Burn-induced rages? Only time will tell...

  1. I Alpha Star can tell you one thing, that these are no heroes if they are taking this drug. And they will be dealt with accordingly, because wrong is wrong be it hero or villain. I will investigate thoroughly and if it turns out this story is truth. I shall personally deal with these misguided heroes myself. And why my interview with Ms. Lane was never posted for it a lil to steamy for the public. Lol

  2. I have seen Peter Petrelli while he was using. I attempted to talk some reason into him, but he feigned innocence and claimed he did not know what I was talking about. As heroes they should know better than to use a drug like that. It goes against the very morals that we heroes live by. It saddens me to see this rampant use of the "Burn" drug.

  4. These so-called heroes who use "Burn" are heroes in name only. no one who values justice would use that poison.

  5. You and me both, Phantom. I don't think it'll ever go away either. All we can do is hope that the FDA, SOE, and S.T.A.R. find away to prevent it from spreading any more than it already has. This'll be a never ending fight and with other heroes using, we have to make sure we watch our backs because you never know who'll all of sudden go into a Burn rage and start attacking you.

  6. Looks like we're all gonna have to make up some methods in and out of battle to deal with Burn addicts cause at this rate, it's gonna spread like a forest fire. I just hope that these ppl are caught and dealt with so they won't ruin the game for all of us.

  7. Last time I saw peter patrelli, the avatar of tech stomped him with one hit. I guess burn couldn't save anybody from that. lol

Oh, and I am glad to see this get reported.

  8. "Burn" is on a level with Bane's venom. It makes you think you're invincible, but let's face it, Bane's venom was dealt with. I have every confidence that the FDA, SOE, and S.T.A.R Labs will find a way to counteract this poison. Justice will prevail in the end.

  10. thank you too the staff @ the daily planet, You are the only mainstream media source to cover these hard hitting issues, i'm forced to suspect that the powers that be may have thier own secrets concerning both the use and creation of this poison, nevermind the continued surpression of information concerning the burn epidemic or even the exobyte statistics that have been promised again and again, maybe we should try and get some of F.L.A.G. 's exobyte data published. -- Eliphaz
