Well, we here at the DP just received photographic and video footage from the player known as Deacon that this guild does indeed have members who use glitches and cheats to their advantage. I won't say too much because the pictures speak a thousand words and video says a million more!
Right now we're still waiting on word from any member of L.O.S. or more preferably, a guild leader to step in and explain Viper's blatant disregard for this MMO's integrity. Video of the ordeal can be seen below.

(Wow is this on the PS3? I haven't run into that glitch vs me on the PC side...thankfully. Only the "one-shot" one I was on the receiving end of but not this one. That's just nuts.)
ReplyDeleteYep, this's on PS3. I actually used to have respect for these guys until the Pre-New Year patch. The PS3 beta suffered from a glitch that caused flame users to dish out ridiculus amounts of damage while healing themselves to damn near 100 percent health as well as the Amazonian Deflection glitch. Guess what a good chunk of L.O.S. users are? I also think it affected the DPS for electricity as well. When I went to the OOlong island alert, the fire dealing and electricity dealing enemies were causing an insane amount of damage. On top of that, the damage stacked on each other so it wasn't unusual to see -214 DPS. I have never had to repair my armor so many times before in just one alert.
ReplyDeleteI don't have this skill but I do know these glitches are random and are beyond the control of the user. During a War last night a Few Members of Omega Stars HP just wouldn't Drop and level read 20 and then zero And the Type of damage done back was truly uncanny. I've also encountered going against foes who's hands glow and projectile attacks do nothing and i'm eating 736 worth of damage.

ReplyDeletefunny, I haven't seen any vids of heroes using that glitch (I know some heroes use it) . I guess we should just boil it down to one group, even though when we attacked those precincts in large groups yesterday, nobody saw us with glowing hands. It was just a pure ass whuppin that the heroes got.

ReplyDelete@The Anonymous douches above me: It wouldn't be a big deal if your leaders did harp on how no one in L.O.S. cheats. Let me repeat that. They said that NO ONE in the Legion of Sin uses game exploits, glitches, and other programming loop holes to get an advantage over the competition. I know just like everyone else knows that heroes as well as villains use these glitches. The only thing is, they haven't come out and said they don't and if they did decide to make a big deal about it, I would post that crap too. When you put yourself out there, expect someone to challenge that and your attitudes about the entire matter only leads other people, including myself, to believe that most of you are in fact cheaters except for the guy on who just posted on the Source that was bit more diplomatic than your current spokesperson, Apocalypto, about the whole thing. On top of that, you have another member that's using glitches to win as well. Hmmmm.....

ReplyDeletelol well said red hammer. Its just a beta you stupid idiots. SOE made some mistakes with the patches and actually accidentally created the new glitches themselves. There wasn't even a way for some people to play the game without having random glitched abilities. I could see if this was the real game where people are paying for there subscriptions and being cheated, but its not it was just the beta and we was given access to it to actually discover glitches and report them to the developers so they can be fixed
