Power-Enhancing Drugs on the Streets of Gotham and Metropolis

The FDA has confirmed the rampant use of power-enhancing drugs in Gotham and Metropolis. Much like the toxin that the mercenary Bane uses, these outlawed and dangerous drugs are said to boost the ability of fire-based powers and other abilities, but the side-effects are allegedly deadly. While the technical term for the drug appears to be Geoxy Lactose Iodine Tetanoine Creatine Hydrolyse. The street term currently in use is "glitch" or "burn". While no one is sure who the developer of this drug is, known users include the popular villain group The Legion of Sin.

The FDA requested samples of the drug and the capture of individuals using it, and popular superhero Year Zero of the Almost Heroes was said to be organizing a raid on the drug's supply chain. More details as they become available.
