Our blog has no heroic or villainous associations . It's our intent to remain neutral and simply REPORT the news and other events from inside DCUO. In a nutshell, many of us were really disappointed that "news stories" inside DCUO won't be available for everyone in the game to see. We feel like there needs to be a way to highlight events, instances and focus on who's being a GREAT hero or villain--so we're gonna do it. But YOU have to help us. Stop a bank robbery in Gotham? Putting together an evil plan? Send it to us so we can write it up as a news story. Or recreate it in short story form from your character's perspective! we also want to show another side to the characters (and the people that play them) by doing interviews. We know people are ALWAYS interested in gossip as well...so any information from inside superhero/villain teams about new members, your new nemesis, who's at odds, who got OWNED and other stories are certainly welcome.
Lastly, we want to be a place where we can highlight the great suggestions, proposed fixes and known imbalances that the people who are playing the game think are important in an organized, educated and balanced manner--we want to avoid the complaint-type threads that often appear on forums after people have a bad experience.
That's our pledge. DC Universe fans UNITE!
Hoo Rah... May The Daily Planet continue to serve the dcuo community for years to come. -eliphaz
ReplyDeleteI have noticed that many that I talk to in-game have never even heard of this blog, and I am having to give people the link on an almost daily basis. I'm wondering if there would be any way to talk to SOE about some sort of integration into the game so that the Daily Planet can be known by more than the select few, it seems, that do know about it. It would definately increase traffic to the blog. I tell as many as I can, but there are so many that haven't heard of it at all that it's a difficult process.
ReplyDeletemuch thanks gentlemen, we're continuously looking for contacts at SOE.
