Nightmarish midnight battle over Metropolis. Missiles strike sleeping city. Black Falcon Again? Extensive Damage at Lex Corp Tower.

Shortly after midnight witnesses report a winged woman pursued by two Apache helicopters with full military armament. The copters were joined by 40-50 black MFC Aerial Power Armor Units. The pursuit was low level and the winged woman was clearly using the city’s buildings as cover. The Apache’s fired missiles at close range striking a number of buildings including the Wesley Memorial, the Baxter building, and the Peacekeepers Headquarters Gift shop was completely wiped out in a direct hit. Police say it was a miracle no one was hurt. The winged woman, believed to be Black Falcon then flew between the copters.

Agents aboard continued to fire and downed the other Apache, sending it crashing into a deserted Wesley Building Parking Garage. The other copter mysteriously slammed into the27th floor of the Lex Corps building bursting into flames. The cause for this crash has yet to be determined. Thinking Black Falcon was inside Lex corps, the armored troops blasted their way into the building. Lex corp heavy armored security joined forces with the agents to pursue Falcon. A battle raged between floors as Black Falcon, using her ability to destroy non-living matter moved effortlessly between floors, walls, and ceilings. Extensive property damage was spread out between 20 floors, but no structural damage is reported. Lex corps released some security footage of a clearly wounded Black Falcon cornered in a grand ballroom. Her left arm was in a sling, apparently broken and bleeding..  About 30 heavy armored agents advanced. Falcon smiled and touched the floor with her good hand. The floor collapsed dropping the agents into a three story pitfall. Falcon then collapsed portions of the next three stories upon them. Police are still digging them out. So far, no MFC agents were killed, thanks in part to their armor, but just pinned under three floors of rubble. A Lex Corp security manager was furious about the incident. He was quoted off the record as saying, "I without a shadow of a doubt believe Black Falcon deliberately led pursuers into the building just to have an excuse to cause damage to it and try and get under Mr. Luthors skin!" Lex Luthor has yet to comment on the damage, or the 60 foot wide, 6 floors deep pit that now occupies his building. Damage is estimated in the 10’s of millions. 

Black Falcon also seems to have disappeared again.
