Black Lantern League Member Taken into MFC Custody

It was a quite evening for Mr. Gary Wu. He had just locked up his doors and hung his "We're Closed" sign in the store front display window when he noticed someone was hurtling directly at him. He managed to get out of the way just in time as the vigilante known as Deacon, who is also a member of The Coalition, slammed through his plate glass display window and through his front counter.
"He was stunned for sure," Mr. Wu told the MPD after the incident. He also added, "I thought he was dead at first because he was just laying their as still as wood on a chair but then he finally rose to his feet, asked me was I okay, and once I told him I was, he stepped outside."

From what we were able to gather from other eye witness accounts, it seemed as though Deacon was swinging above Metropolis' Chinatown rooftops when he was suddenly ambushed by Black Lantern league member, Richie Rich. The super-criminal delivered a devastating drop kick to the black and blue loud mouth, sending him flying towards Mr. Wu's shop window. Once Deacon regained his bearing, stepped outside and confronted Richie Rich in what was a relatively one-sided battle. The Black Lantern member was subdued then strung up and hung upside down by with what MPD are calling a "very sophisticated and lengthy piece of rope."

Before the local police could take Richie Rich to jail, MFC Enforcers arrived on the scene and took the villain into custody themselves. Needless to say, the officers on the scene weren't too happy with this. Mr. Wu had one final statement to make as well. "Even though my shop is basically destroyed, I'm glad that hero stopped the Black Lantern. I mean, he was obviously in the area to cause trouble and there is no telling what he would've done to the other small businesses in the area so Deacon being here was a stroke of luck. Also, I'm not too worried about my shop because I'm covered by a good meta-human property insurance. Heh, heh."
