Vigilante is Nearly Killed by Necro Magent Gruhn

It would seem that one of Gotham's experienced vigilantes got a little too complacent while fighting a potential threat at U of G. Necro Magent Gruhn was once again running loose through the hallways and corridors of Gotham University Museum when the call went out to stop him from gaining access to the real world.

Rob Hylin, (a popular spokesman for STAR Labs, Soder Cola, and Big Belly Burger. He's also the PR rep for the JLA and Green Lantern Corp) and Coalition member, Deacon were the first ones on the scene that night. Security guards who were on the scene witnessed the final encounter between Magent Gruhn and the two heroes.

Matthew Dangler, head of the U of G security stated, "I know Magent Gruhn is dangerous and all but this fight hardly seemed fair. Mr. Hylin and that blue and black... who did you say his name is, Deacon? Well, they were really doing a number on him and it seem as though the guy could hardly fight back. Maent Gruhn used his magic to make a bunch of caskets appear and started hurling them at the two guys.Mr. Hylin was blasting the things as they came at him and De-Con was jumping, twisting, flipping, and spinning through the air like he was showing off for the cameras or something. It seem as though he could sense where they were going and dodged them but I guess he got a little sloppy and one of the caskets bashed him face first into a wall. Pretty brutal stuff."

Along with Mr. Dangler's eyewitness accounts, we managed to secure a copy of the security cam footage which verified his testimony along with showing footage of Rob Hylin finishing the evil mummy off and carrying  an unconscious Deacon off to safety before MFC authorities arrived on the scene. Mr. Hylin could not be reached for questioning as to why he was helping a known fugitive in the first place.

  1. Deacon may be a known fugitive, but he does what is right, and sometimes necessary to get the job done.

  2. He's a God damned menace and he needs to be put down. Anyone who gets behind these unregistered vigilantes should share the same fate!

  4. "We may have found a new ally in this Rob Dangler. I'll have to send in Flame Man and Stormbringer in to investigate."
