OK Ladies and Gentlemen, here goes. Here's our initial impressions thread. Feel free to jump inside and ask any questions about DCUO that have been weighing heavily on your minds. Please be patient and courteous with our Insiders--keep in mind, they don't have to do this.
1. Costumes are unique the second you create your character.
2. You choose from powers of Ice, Fire, or Telekinesis
3. You also choose of movements of Super Speed, Acrobatics and Flight
4. You also choose your fighting style of Dual swords, Dual Guns, Bow or Martial Arts
5. You also choose a Mentor and depending on that depends on your Experience of the game.
6. You won't get unique customization early in the game but when you equip items they will change your appearance according do your unique character's costume ect...
7. If you choose Batman you will be put into Gotham while Wonder Woman or Superman will put you in Metropolis.

8.You can go to the WatchTower.

How big is Metropolis? how about Gotham? how long does it take to one part of the city to the other.
ReplyDeletefrom earlier vidz the watchtower looked enormous! can you go inside all buildings or just a select few. i saw cars crashing during a superfight on the video. do the AI civilians always react to your actions like that?

How are the mental powers? has anyone tried them yet?
ReplyDeleteOkay for the cities their pretty big and since and because of my flight ablilities it doesn't take long to get anywhere.
ReplyDeleteYou always see the AI running away and scared reacting to the battle field. The watchtower is enormous it was awesome.
Yes their are more powers but those are the only ones they allowed in the beta for me that is. Those are the only three i could choose from the beta for the pc. Maybe you could unlock more powers or that those are unusable currently.
I haven't personally tried them out but i have seen people use them and it is pretty cool
what notable villains have you gone up against so far?

ReplyDeletesuper speed is faster in my opinion until you level up and you can unlock super sonic flight and other flight abilities same as speed
O yes their are plenty you'll be able to fight with of course. I have chosen batman as my mentor. so far i have fought a long side with superman, night wing,bag girl and currently i am going to save raven
Is there any electricity looking powers in the game??? Other than 'shazam' or lighting or whatever its called know?
