Bio: 31st Cabalist

"If you look too closely at white screen you slowly begin to see images. Images that you know are not there, but in your mind they are."

The world known to him is called Sphera. A world typical to that of Earth. Yet with many differences. Once, in the past, Sphera was home to vast quantities of gods and goddesses. All of them trivial and nonchalant in their affairs with the low humans of Sphera. They were many and their powers vast. And even gods grow bored with normality. Seeking a new way of life, the deities fled Sphera. This became known as the Godflight. Flying into the stars where they fell silent. Humans no longer called on their higher powers...the gods had isolated them. Time goes on, Sphera began to change. At the center of Sphera, a sprawling desert harbors various cosmopolitan cities and mega structures known as the Persian Lands. A center of commerce, politics and divine powers aplenty, Persia is the capitol of this planet ruled by the Twelve Clans of Persia. Far to the north, lies Sindaran. A mountainous kingdom once dressed in grand garments of crystalline towers and vestiges of silver and gold. During the Godflight, many deities left their powers in the hands of mortals. Sindaran, in its beauty and majesty, received an abundance of these powers. This blessing turned into a curse for the Sindaran. Stripping them of their human emotions, the Sindarans became entity like beings who coveted their powers. This, lead to the destruction of their kingdom and the Sindaran Calamity began. Destroying and laying waste to the beautiful mountain terrain. Sindaran became no more than a whisper. The lands locked in curses and destruction for eternity.

As the centuries continued, technology was introduced into Sphera. Not through human ingenuity, but through the aliens known as the Cabal. A nomadic herd of aliens who scoured the galaxy for planets rich with education, secrets, learning and knowledge, the Cabal were instantly attracted to Sphera. At first, the nations rallied against their alien insurgents. But a treaty was made, in turn for their safe haven on Sphera, the Cabal would gift the world with technological secrets and knowledge beyond their world. The Cabal were integrated into Sphera's civilizations. Living within floating libraries called Athenaeums.

At first the Cabal were quiet, but their need for knowledge spread through Sphera and the Cabalists were formed. Trained and educated members of the Cabalan race who were chosen to roam and adventure across Sphera in search for lore, artifacts and ancient things. Lead by the Trivium, a council of three, the Cabalists became ambassadors, spies, infiltrators, diplomats and traders throughout Sphera's everyday life. One noteworthy Trivium member, a man known as the Third Chair, would sire a son with a human woman. That son was given the name Fjrn Osw on his naming day and he began his education like every other young Cabalan.

Whilst he grew, Fjrn was an oddity to his peers. His half alien, half human blood made him appear awkward and lanky. Not regal like the true Cabal, yet not mundane like a human. Yet being the son of such an elected official would give him an advantage. In Fjrn's twelfth year of edification, he requested to study abroad. His father, who envied his son's advantageous heritage, allowed his son to study in the Union Kingdoms. For the next few years, Fjrn made many human friends and excelled amazingly at the human level of study. Meanwhile learning how it felt to be free and able to learn what he wished, Fjrn's destiny was foreseen by almost all the Cabal. When Fjrn returned from study in Union Kingdom, he was requested to audience with the Trivium. They saw the potential of the half bred scholar and knew he would exceed many of their own positions. Fjrn became a member of the esoteric Cabalists, he was the 31st Cabalist of his generation.

This meant 31st was able to leave the Athenaeums without permission. To come and go as he pleased. To roam Sphera for all time and study and disinter secrets of his own curiosity. His first chance to explore...31st took up the most dangerous territory of all. He traveled to Sindaran. In his journey, he passed through the blistering cold plains and rocky landscape of Sindaran until he found himself in a field of ruins. Battered and torn by the cold storm, 31st sought refuge in a shelled out palace. That was where 31st met the Wild Jericho.

It hunted him like a wolf, fueled by 31st's naive fear. 31st found himself in an antechamber of the palace...fixed with several bronze statues of ancient Sindaran kings. 31st was no match for the Wild Jericho, a godly representation of trickery and deceit, the Wild Jericho exploited 31st to do his bidding. He told 31st of a tale, the tale of the Sindaran people. That an ancient king had sacrificed one hundred and eight souls, harnessing their god given powers and locking them away one of the ancient statues. Wild Jericho told 31st this story was only a rumor. Wild Jericho spun another tale, that the king had also locked away a library beneath a statue, a library so vast that it had to be hidden from the world because of its many secrets. This made 31st curious. Exploited once more, Wild Jericho could smell the Sindaran blood deep in 31st's veins. Asking to choose one of the statues where the library may be hidden, 31st chose correctly. The statue reacted to his heritage and it opened, releasing a storm of energy throughout the palace.

Wild Jericho had lied, in truth, the ancient Sindaran king had sealed away one hundred and eight god given powers. Storing them safely away for a future war predicted by his seers. These powers, now released, burst into the sky and flickered into the bodies of one hundred and eight humans of Sphera. Tricked into releasing these great powers, 31st tried to escape Wild Jericho. Not quick to let the alien go, Wild Jericho captured and tortured 31st. Stating that now the world would truly know chaos. Fortunately, 31st would make an ally that day. A hunter of the Wild Jericho, a Persian avatar known as MoonHawk, rescued 31st from the villain's clutches. As MoonHawk fought the Wild Jericho, 31st's wounds began to churn his mind. Swirling with negative thoughts, 31st became enraged at the trickery and with a flash of light, he released an explosive telekinetic blast into the ruins.

Next, awaking in a hospital bed, 31st had no idea what had occurred. A man sat at his bed side, he looked Persian and 31st knew instinctively who he was. He went by MoonHawk and he had saved 31st from the Wild Jericho. The two spoke briefly about the recent events. The powers that had been released had started a movement on Sphera, humans were now suddenly as powerful as gods and flew through the clouds. It had been 31st's naive sense of curiosity that had caused this crisis. MoonHawk comforted his new friend, but their meeting was cut short.

A superhero force known as the Union, arrived at the hospital. They were warranting the arrest of 31st and MoonHawk for the release of these god powers. Lead by a Starborn Amazon named Atlas Woman, the Union secured both the heroes into custody. Taking them to a private location deep within the heart of Europa, the Union arrived at their destination...and they met with someone both 31st and MoonHawk recognized. The Wild Jericho. Somehow having tricked the Union into capturing the two heroes, Wild Jericho now finished his master plan. Knowing the truth of this new crisis, 31st and MoonHawk were a danger to his reign of chaos on Sphera. Together, using Union developed technology, he and the Union forced the heroes into a portal. Neither 31st of MoonHawk went without a fight. Tapping into his psychic powers, 31st defeated a couple heroes before being tossed through the portal. MoonHawk fared no better and the two heroes tumbled into the darkness. Leaving their home world behind and the chaos to ensue.

It was on the streets of Gotham they crashed atop an idle sedan. Both of them roughed up by their previous fight, they were dazed at their new arrival. People were screaming for help, and cars were burning in the streets. This place known as Gotham was in trouble. People shouted a name in fear..."Scarecrow!" they cried.

(This leaves us in Gotham city during the Scarecrow mission at the beginning of DCUO. Moonhawk and 31st are licensed characters of their creators as well as being part of a completely original world-concept. See attached document for further information regarding Sphera.)
