The shadows of the night took it all away…Cascading crimson flowed that night, flowed into everything that was light and serine, tinting everything with a sallow hue of obscurity. Then the question…what defines a man? What creates the rage? What manifests the darkness in a man? There is much truth in myth…there are monsters that lurk out in the shadows. But the real terror lurks in a man whom fears nothing, and is only pacified by his opponents’ submission at all cost. You cannot buy such a man for his honor is to himself and his league. You cannot sway him because he is nothing more than an instrument of death. This is the substance of a new definition of hero. One that has lost all, but…gained power to destroy those meant to oppress, those who meant to take it all away.

It was twelve years ago, his sixteenth birthday, the day that changed his life forever. He lay there, covered in the warm blood of his murdered family. Cradling the young woman that he loved in his arms, his eyes feverishly moving through the burning building, finally taking sight of his mother and sister killed in cold blood. This was all for the sins of his nameless and forgotten father. He could not move, every muscle in his body turned to stone, his mind screaming for him to run. It was pointless. Live or die? Only fate would determine. And it did… He awakened to his dormant supremacy, the power locked away in his genes, the mutation garnered from his mother. He pushed forwards and flew, crashing through the window and seconds later, smashing into the ground below, and the ground below was now ice-covered. Raiyn was hurt as he struggled to stand, his glare towards the fire raging in his once happy home. The wounds from the fall, the gashes and cuts around his face and body rapidly healed as he made himself a promise. He would find the man responsible for all this, his father… This was how it begun, the death and life of Grant Raiyn. Forcibly inducted into a word of chaos, he knew what it was to suffer and as well, how to bring suffering to others. For the better part of ten years, Raiyn spent training, learning how to use the weapons and powers. He became something of a lone wolf, a vigilantly in the City of Metropolis in his mission to find the man responsible for the death of his family.

His first likely choice was the Falcone Mafia. At that time he took the alias “Wolf” as he infiltrated their bases and became one of them. In the beginning, he did small jobs, robed but never harmed or sold drugs to innocents. He gathered as much information from them, but it came at a cost. All the crime, the submission of his true personality, it almost altered him to point of no return…but his actions shed new light on the subject. The father that he was searching for was already someone linked with a group he knew all to well, and the reason became clear. He was targeted to make a point, to strike at a weakness. They died so that his father would come out of hiding and reveal all his secrets. He understood now that he needed to become stronger. At his current strength, he was would not be able to extract his revenge. At this stage, his has joined forces with the Meta Militia, and under the guidance of Flame Man, he puts away his vengeance to help those in need.
