Interview: The Flame

He owns a Motorcycle. He has a rogue's gallery. He is the leader of a Super-hero league, and he's only Sixteen! I, Cat Grant, recently sat down with one of the most fired up heroes in Metropolis on Saturday to get the third degree.

  

 So, you say you've had your power's since before the Exobyte incident. How long have you been in the hero business?

(Laughs) I've been in the "Business" all my life, but I started stopping criminals when I was seven. until then I had to learn how to control my powers.

I guess potty training is the easy part! You hail from a large city in Georgia, but outside of there not alot of people have heard of you. Does that bother you?
Not really. We live on a planet with great heroes like Superman, Green Lantern, Cyborg, and tons others that are always risking their lives. They have been doing this for a long time, they deserve the credit, besides, I don't do this for the credit.

I hear you do alot of everday heroics, why is that?

Not everything involving super-heroes invovle super-villains. The police have their hands full, I might as well help out the common man.

And women. That bus full of cheerleaders you saved, that was a plus side to your job, am I correct?

(Laughs) Yeah that never hurts.

You know that they are all wondering if you are single.

Hate to disapoint y'all, but my partner in crime-fighting back in New Gem City is my girlfriend of three years, and we aren't breaking up any time soon.

Aside from your league, the Meta Militia, have you befriended any other heroes?

I've met many other league leaders, but a hero that I have really sparked a friendship with is my friend the Arrow of Light. He is the complete opposite of me, but we have become really good friends. Like Supes and Batman.

Hero attacks have been rising, with some of the Elementals dead what are you doing to protect your league?

We group up a lot to make sure we are never alone, I've been staying at the police stations at night so I can get any new info. Also it's safer there.

Do you have any comments to leave us with?

I've been doing this for a long time, I know what I'm capeable of, I know what I can do. Whoever his killing these good men I will find you, and we'll see how strong you really are.
