It seems Metropolis' evildoers won't be backing down without a fight. In a surprise move, a contingent of Legion of Sin villains raided a S.T.A.R. Labs Training area where many heroes were practicing control over there abilities, no one was spared and a few of the heroes that ended up hospitalized were Captain Barbell, Sir Burnsington, Katmandu, SSJ Carlos and FlameGirl.
Grendal Prime apparently gave the order that unleashed the violence on Metropolis. Violet Vandal was quoted as saying "No one is safe from our wrath. It was to yet again prove who controlled this area of Metropolis." From the lab location the villain horde moved to the Little Bohemia police station and almost ended up destroying it. We'll do our best to reach out to Hero League spokesman for an official response.
UPDATE: We just received footage from the Little Bohemia Policestation assault as well.
fail on so many levels. villains did manage to take over star labs but were inneffective at little bohemia police station they attacked twice and were pushed back in minutes the first time and a little over 20 min the second time with little damage done at all.

umm star labs happened before the attack on little bohemia nice try tho. i was at the station and i didnt see any glitching only LoS falling back to star labs from a few heroes odd hows theres no video on that part i wonder y

ReplyDeleteWistal your assaults on the HQ's was nothing. I dont think any of them lasted over 15 mins cause you would get pushed away. When every you guys do a raid on a hq that last for around a hour then you can almost consider yourselves as successful as LOS has been all along.

How is it that not a single day can go by w/o LoS proving they suck at this game? Most of them take 3 or more villains to actually k/o anyone....I really hope that they add in a duel system so that as villains we can finally kick your ass too...
ReplyDeleteFirst, LoS has over 300 members. Meta Justice only has around 45. And I am not sure about the numbers of Dream Team but it's not that high. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that LoS would win against any one league. And second, I didn't see any glitching. And as far as events on a PvE server, it just sounds a little ridiculous. Maybe once they add a duel area, so people don't have to worry about creating a new character and power leveling, we aren't very interested. LoS used to have a lot of respect from me and my members since the full game released. That was destroyed last night.

It was my understanding, that while in BETA you TEST FOR GLITCHES. I mean, this is why Betas are conducted are they not? To find exploits and glitches before the game ships? I dont understand why all the sour grapes about that.Also consider the fact the beta was open to anyone with a Playstation Plus account, and the majority im sure probably didnt transfer over to an active subscription.

And as much as I enjoy these little raids on safe havens, lets fukn settle this please, once and for all. I propose we each get a raid of 8 together. Go to an undisclosed location (agreed upon secretly from leaders of LoS, DT, and MJ) with a witness from MAGWW and have a battle royal. If we must LoS will bring 2 Raid groups. We are getting no where with all this bickering and I HAVE NO DOUBT that LoS will come out on TOP with our best against yours.
PLEASE LETS SETTLE THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL. For once, I'd like to read some new material on the Daily Planet. This raid shit is getting old.

And Dr, Im seriously curious about this next question, its been haunting me for a long time... if you dont tolerate glitchers how come Viper exposed that he glitched while in the LOS during beta, and yet there is a member of yours named viper66? Sounds like the same character. If you are sick of all these articles have your league stop sending them in, your lucky that MAGWW is nice and posts every story you send him. Some arent even true! Lastly, the only villains in your league that will fight one on one are those of you with Iconic Armor, the rest of your guild doesnt so you dont let them fight your battles. A league isnt just 1 member but all of them, instead of sending our your Iconic Armor villians send out a horde of your non-IA villains. Oh wait, you couldnt do that cause you would lose. Stop hiding behind armor and a select few members. You might have SOME good PVPers, but what about the rest of your guild?
Good luck whenever the hero leagues get Iconic Armor, cause when they do, DT, MJ, and the rest of them will show you, until then have fun while it lasts.
we agree Dr. Manhattan, the back and forth raiding and outnumbering mostly lower-level random players at spawns was original early, but got old late in the beta. lets resolve some storylines and determine some consequences in a well-written fashion, i say...and to boot let's do it in an environment with even numbers where everyone is largely equal and real skill determines the outcome.

Manhattan, I couldn't agree with you more. I didn't quote Gloom to make a statement that you guys are glitching. I've only come across one member of LoS using an exploit in arena since launch.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason though, some of your members were under the impression that I was going to be casting those videos for Meta Justice. I'm pretty sure I had made that abundantly clear that that wasn't the case. For the life of me, I don't understand why you guys felt the need to raid the 1v1s as it was a community staged event that many of your legion members agreed to the guidelines for concerning interfering in the matches. Gloom himself said that interfering was immature and yet he claims that raiding it last night was his idea.
I was hoping that these weekly events would do a lot for promoting No Man's Land as the best pvp server, but if people can't step out of their role, hero and villain both, so we can have these 1v1s I'm not going to bother taking away from my playing time to try casting them.

ReplyDeleteAs far as us only sending out people in Iconic Armor. Well what do you expect? Its not our fault the majority of heroes (if it is your heroes or other heroes you mentioned. Either way its moot) rather stay on forums complaining about not having the armor. WE PUT IN THE WORK TO GET IT! We have every right to use it and I Do not feel bad at all that we distribute the beatings with them. Not everyone is a Hardcore Gamer in the guild. Some prefer casual play doing alerts and duos with RL friends or maybe just some casual pvp in arenas and Legends. Its not my fault everyone in LoS willing to come forward and respectfully layeth the smackdown on heroes is in Iconic. I have no control over that lol really i dont.
And yes LoS may send in more than our share of stories but really its you heroes that are lacking! Take some initiative and submit some stories as well. Maybe you guys just aren't as active as you would like to think you are

It's time everyone takes there beatings like men. If you get glitches on. Is it fair no. If you get ganged is it fair no.
But that's the current reality of the situation, deal with it. The glitches will be cleared in the patches. Those that relied in them will now be weaker without them. If you do not know how to handle being ganged, put the controller away. This game is not for you.
Crimson, you were one of the one's talking the most smack over /versus about you being villains and you were having fun. I felt you needed to be put in the position that you put everybody up there in. Wasn't cool was it? Didn't feel like any fun did it? Now you know how it feels. Don't talk smack after you raid a place and then come crying when the same happens to you. I was in character after all.

OOC: Ok guys, I know this is all fun and games but we all need to chill. We are all taking this a bit to seriously. I know I did in the beginning but come on. This isn't healthy. I get the competition aspect of the game, and I get we all hate cheaters and lairs. Shit, I've been a victim of it too. After last nights attempt to regain their fight club (which you cant have back because it belongs to LoS now.) im not sure the Heroes have the heart to take us on in a real 8v8 battle. After I finished Batcave yesterday, all I saw in Versus chat were heroes talkin a bunch of smack how the villains were afraid to come to fight club to face them. So we gathered an offensive force and didnt even get to mass the numbers we wanted to and were ambushed from across the tower as soon as they spotted us forming up.
ReplyDeleteNOT ONLY DID WE WIPE UP THEIR AMBUSH, we then continued to clean up whatever resistance was left @ fightclub itself. I personally called out SuperPatriot to get the VideoCapture out to make sure he recorded everything BUT he was being salty. So after what seemed like 30 min of versus chat silence on the hero side, the heroes tried to regroup at the very spot our numbers formed. Too bad we ambushed them like they did us and were properly wiped out.
We called you out publicly. You tried to retaliate. You failed. Now lets hear the QQ in comments. And like I said "THIS IS WAR" There nothing polite about war.
OOC: QQ comments? Ok. I don't feel the need to respond IC seeing as I've not been in any of these raids this week. So answer me this, Manhattan. I really don't get why you guys decided to take the fight club? Hell, I really don't get most of your tactics to begin with, but it's all good. The fight clubs was for heroes and villains to come and test their skill against one another, as far as I know it was Neutral ground. If you want a war, have at it. Listen, FightClub was just a casualty of war. The heroes on the server were calling us out. I usually dont get mixed up in the raids but last night was different. Actually the fightclub ring was the best place to do it so there wouldnt be any interference from the NPCs guarding the safehouse. It was a chance for both sides to come together, record it for youtube and post the outcome. It was the heroes who called US out. We just responded in kind. Were there even any 1v1's going on when we responded. I dont think so. I saw a mass gathering of heroes waiting for an attack. Its sad that you call us out and then ridicule us for responding to your invitation.

ReplyDeleteAnother thing about the 8v8s. It's a far better way to approach the players to discuss an 8v8 challenge than to raid what the majority of the community would like to be a neutral area for 1v1s and then call people out.
Fight Club isn't done. It's just going to be by invitation only to those leagues and legions that I know can be trusted to respect the guidelines.

It's not a matter of me being sensitive. It's a matter that me, among the vast majority of people who got this game, play it to enjoy ourselves and not deal with the drama that has been caused by your legion. I was talking to members of my league last night and nobody can wrap their heads around why you guys have been acting the way you have. We get the whole "villainry" thing. We really do. ReplyDeleteToo bad your team seemed to never have respect for LoS Flamegirl. When a group answers violence with violence, this is what happens. It will likely continue with violence, unless someone does something.
ReplyDeleteIt may not have seemed like it, but most of my members have expressed similar feelings of respect in league chat. I am deeply saddened by this turn of events.
