423 Confirmed Dead in Federal Building Attack

At least 400 people, including women and children, were confirmed killed today in the aftermath of the Dr. Manhattan Federal Building explosion in Metropolis, making it the single worst act of superhuman terrorism ever.

Passers by at the area reported that the explosion caused a huge fire that tore through stalls and engulfed vehicles and people. A huge plume of putrid black smoke spiraled into the air.

Fire engines battled to put out the flames as dozens of ambulances and pick-up trucks ferried the wounded to hospital and civilian and superhuman volunteers wrapped charred bodies in carpets for transport to the city’s overflowing morgues.

  9. "A live body and a dead body contain the same number of particles. Structurally, there’s no discernible difference. Life and death are unquantifiable abstracts. Why should I be concerned?"

  10. at the moment of death the body begins decomposition, so no, a live body and a dead body do not have the same amount of particles.
I have hardly ever known a mathematician who was capable of reasoning.

Entire ignorance is not so terrible or extreme an evil, and is far from being the greatest of all; too much cleverness and too much learning, accompanied with ill bringing-up, are far more fatal. What then of Dr suess here? Knowledge without justice ought to be called cunning rather than wisdom. Ignorance that portends itself knowledge only reflects the confusion of the individual, any who know will see not only the fault, but also the confusion.

  12. Pretty impressive Doc, the Joker and I were laughing a lot watching it on television...

Well it all started when Two Face said that you must have flipped the "X" side of the coin and those people had to die. So I said: "Realy? I mean, 423 dead folks, thats one big a$$ coin!" You know the Joker right? He laughed for an hour!

  13. Can you hear them? I hear them calling, screaming your name...they are asking for you to join them in the darkness you have locked them away in... The body may be dead, but it is the soul that you need to fear...

  14. Death Drive, you are way too emotional. I don't fear the poor average joe's souls and I'm sure neither is Manhattan. We talk to demons and Goddesses on a daily basis.

"Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: For I AM THE WORST S.O.B IN THE VALLEY!"

    The 23rd Psalm by RAPIER

  15. My emotion has run dry like a barren wasteland. I speak only in truths, for I have seen the souls of the damned. Your demons and goddess are nothing more than false imitations…I detest such bold allegations that are hollow, devoid of truth. And though you have chosen to quote religious words and bastardize them, I lave you with this…

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.—The Book of Revelations

  17. Well Death Drive
Lets skip to the fourth horse then:

When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Come and see!" I looked and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hell was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth.
    — Revelation 6:7-8

    Thats just how I ride.

  18. Well Rapier. I find it amusing that you continue with Revelations.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Rev.21.8

It gets better in the end, you know how it ends?

    ...Enjoy your "ride."

  19. Ohh I know how it ends alright. But revelations are just parables. Succinct stories, in prose or verse, that illustrates a lesson. Like I realy believe in all that. If God realy exist I will do everything in my power to ruin all he holds dear and created, like he took all I ever cherished.
Fire and brimstone: Sounds like a good plan to me. Don't get me wrong, I know whats coming to me; Just deserts. To every action there is a reaction, in that I can believe. But when this happens the world will be in flames and I will be waiting on a throne of corps.

  20. The world is already in chaos; there is no denying that. This is the tides of sin. It is a purgatory of sorts, a miserable oblivion of wickedness and sorrow. This is where you and I reside. I to be an omen of bereavement, and the souls of all that I have taken haunt me; validate me in this vicious cycle. As for god? He remains still. He does not hear the cries of all his children. He has gone deaf, or rather, forgotten how to care. What is left are the genuine demons, not you nor I, nothing born of mortal man, but the old ones. They shall rise from the shadows, and they will guide. Good and evil are now just words that have lost their designation...
