To Kill a Mockingbird (part 2)
Hero groups are scrambling after the apparent capture of the superhero Steel and the brutal beating of the group that answered the call for assistance, The Coalition. Several members of the group known only as the Destruction Kings, who apparently count Public Enemy #1, Dr. Manhattan among their members. Viven, Grendal Prime and Urbootkicker were also identified at the scene.
Though their motives are unclear at this point, what is clear is that during a fundraiser at the Water Treatment facility, the group of villains quickly captured Steel and then quickly dispatched The Coalition, who were on patrol and sped over to assist as soon as they heard of the attack. Coalition member, Death Drive was the last to arrive on the scene and his quick actions may have saved the lives of his teammates as paramedics arrived and got Force, Deacon, Aduro and Demerol to Metropolis General where they remain in critical but stable condition.
Several hero groups spoke out against the incident, and there is currently a massive search and All Points Bulletin regarding the whereabouts of Steel.

How fortunate of Death Drive to arrive when he did. We'll have to make sure it never happens again. Let it be known whoever you think we WERE, I can assure you we are NOT. The reign of Destruction Kings has begun. This skirmish with The Coalition was merely a warning to those who attempt to stand in our way.

Fatal mistake he made , it wasnt just a capture of Steele , it was total destruction of the coalition and anyone else that chooses to stand in our way , the road to hell has comith to all who dare to stand, and not bow before your kings the destruction has begun- boot
ReplyDeleteThere are those of us who live behind an erroneous semblance of ethics. There are those who seek to emulate those already revered. But there are others that seek to emerge from the shadows and stalk those whom have wounded those close to them...
ReplyDeleteOOC: Sorry, but I just wanted to note that I'm not yet an official member of the Coalition.
