The Daily Planet Blog Introduces: Faction-on-Faction Combat

Hot Girl Super-Catfight!
Heroes fight each other all the time in comic books. Why? Countless reason really, Readers have a sick curiosity to see who would win and then there's the issue of the shade of grey and the line that exists between Heroes and Vigilantes. Even more often, sometimes their goals are in conflict or different opinions bring about a need for fisticuffs. Soooo...isn't it necessary in DCUO?

It's common knowledge that there isn't any honor among thieves. Villains bear arms against each other for a variety of reasons. Maybe Dr. Destructo is robbing the same bank as the Red Menace, maybe Silk Flossy wants to be considered a bigger villainess than the Blue Baroness, who knows? Since we don't have a Faction .vs. Faction setting yet (looks over at Chris and Jens Andersen) the great minds at the DP Blog have decided to bring it to you the best way we know how.

Create an alternate version of your character on the Birthright PVE server (if you're a villain make a Hero, vice versa if you're a Hero) since this is where all of our PVP Events take place. You should already have your main character there in your faction of choice for Events. Please be careful to comply with the Level 10 cap (anyone higher will be disqualified) and please! No funny business with trying to obtain Tier 1 or Tier 2 armor or to try to "cram" Feats to get extra skill points. We have reporters that will inspect for this kind of thing and we'll happily disqualify you AND write up an article about you being a Burn-Addict in STAR Labs rehab, so please don't embarrass yourself trying to exploit.

Given some of the bad blood between The Legion Of Sin and the Destruction Kings, this is just the sort of thing that would add some really cool storylines to our blog and allow you to settle differences with people you couldn't touch previously (we're sure that Deacon and Black Azure may come to blows). Good luck Ladies and Gents, let's get to work!

  1. I'll take on any fool silly enough to question my gangsta! Isn't it funny Kristen, how quiet it is in here. Some legions are only good for one thing it seems, and it isn't walking the walk.
