Massive battle in Centennial Park, 159 people found dead, 53 severely injured

The day was relatively quite on March 15th in Metropolis' famous park where tourists and local residents were having picnics, playing frisbee, and admiring Superman's famous statue when according to some of the survivors, a young girl fell over with a gaping hole where her stomach used to be. The perpetrators of this heinous crime was a new legion going by the name of "The Scumbags."

Once the opening salve had been unleashed, what seems like an army of super criminals began mercilessly killing civilians. Men, women, and children alike were slaughtered. Not long after the massacre began, a contingent of heroes stormed the park and took the villains head on. Notable leagues that lead the charge into battle were The Coalition, Organization XII, The Other Guys, Legacy of Truth, and Justice Knights among many other leagues. InvictusDark Universethe Scumbags (who we mentioned previously), Anubu Black Ops, Resident Evil and Dark Legacy
. The police arrived on the scene and tried to help contain the situation but most of the officers on the scene were either killed or injured by a second wave of villains. After a grueling 3 hour battle, the heroes were finally able to push the criminals out of the park but the amount of casualties was staggering. Once they were pushed back, the remaining heroes started started tending to the wounded and searching for those that had lost their lives in the onslaught. That's when MFC enforcers rolled up with meta power dampners tech suppressors to try and round up and arrest the weary heroes. Another battle erupted as MFC eventually began to gain the upper hand on the so-called VRA violators when Mighty Ice, used his powers to call up a violent fog storm and masking most of the heroes' escape in various directions. During the battle, some of the survivors managed to capture these incredible images of heroes and villains in battle.

  1. This was a grueling battle. We pushed back and forth for a while. With everything that is going on, our government THINK TANKS will do whatever it takes to push that bill forward. Sigh. I need a drink.... I'm gonna go get some soder-cola to calm my nerves.
