On Patrol: Eliphaz of Dream Team

On a typical low-priority investigation recently in pursuit of some low key criminals I had the pleasure of running into Meta-Justice standout SSJ Carlos, during our short flight together he shared some important information regarding the possible whereabouts of a shipment of stolen Exobytes, after contacting Chandra of Dark Ambush with some of the details I was put in  touch with Sly who immediately began verifying the info thru the Living Legends network of informants, Meanwhile Jcon and Arrow V spoke with the JLA on a plan to keep civilian casualties to a minimum, it was already clear that this was no common crime.

Utilizing state of the art global positioning systems to pin point 3 possible locations in Metropolis. Team Supreme was able to format a direct route so that our assault would have as little impact on the ordinary working citizens as possible. With the Divine Knights in place ready to catch any stray bullets before they found soft targets in the area, xCptLuffyx brought a small army of his super team, the Straw Hats, downtown to ensure none of the possible suspects where involved in the Will versus Fear wars that have been going on for a few weeks now, he messaged me almost instantly "whatever villains were here, cleared out fast"  they did apprehend a few well known criminals while on that scene but details are highly confidential at the moment. Odium and Henchmen of the roaming band of supers, Nomads, accompanied them to the first possible location, we knew there would be heavy resistance there and all converged on a club near Centennial Park.

There was a immediate scuffle with large groups of heroes and villains blacking out repeatedly due in part to the huge conflux of energies in the area, but our sensors showed no access of Exobytes in the area, other then those of the enormous group of heroes battling, leaving Nomads and Straw Hats to quell the remaining disturbance and distract the villains. Members of Dream Team and Meta Justice quickly moved to Club Lex near Metropolis University to investigate the next part of the trail. After taking the bouncers out, we entered to find a small group of villains clearing up the mess of what had apparently been a hurried shipment, rallying the heroes not already occupied with arrest and detainment of the many criminals taken into custody, we made way for the Chinatown Area, where Circe's magical protective circles disoriented heroes long enough for villains to arrive and mount a defensive. After what seemed hours the resistance was quelled with only a few traces of Exobyte signatures left behind. We gathered what evidence was to be found to be analyzed by scientist at STAR labs and technicians from Wayne Enterprises.

A few heroes took advantage of the confusion in metropolis to pursue other criminal leads in Gotham, which turned out to be very fruitful with numerous arrests made, among them, a few scattered members of the almost-defunct Legion Of Sin.

Further details are all red marked and cannot be made public at this time.

  3. (ooc) this story represents our first assault, as opposed to the march 1st attack.

  4. Ha! Pretty cool story! I see that you steered clear of Doom Patrol territory...a wise choice. btw Doom Patrol territory is at an undisclosed location. ;)
