Mayor, Hostages Unharmed; Vicious SLAIN!

As details start to emerge from the aftermath of the conclusion of the Hostage Crisis at the Mayor's Office, the public is becoming aware of the details of the incident. At some point in the evening authorities made the decision that negotiations were making a turn for the worse and green lighted the assault by the Cape Killer Unit.

A StrikeTeam led by Black Hornet, with the help of S.T.A.R. Labs, disrupted the Forcefield surrounding the building and stormed in during a daring afternoon raid. All of the hostages were liberated without injury, but apparently the group's mastermind Vicious, was slain during the attack.

Mayor Fleming spoke through a spokesmen expressing her gratitude and thanking the Striketeam for their "heroic efforts"

Black Hornet and Heru spoke to news crews after the attack:

"Once Lex Luthor gave me the call I knew it was more than politics. We were hesitant to get involved. As our mere presence might have started an outright rumble amongst the other factions.  Which would have made matters worse" - Black Hornet

" Let this be an example, an example to the Capes. You all had the chance to stop this situation but you are amateurs. Just like a owning a gun, registration is a must for metahumans. Because you have proven you have no idea how to handle yourselves. Amnesty granted today because the rescue was more important then subduing you capes. Thank Luthor for his kindness." - Heru

  1. I would like to apologise to Vicious mom on the behalf of the Legion Of Sin, a.k.a the cape killer unit, for "slaying" him. If it's any consolation madam, know that your son went down with a bang... A big bang. (More like a lot of .50 caliber rounds bang... you get the point right?) I'm sure madam, that what your son did got nothing to do with the way you raised him and was unavoidable. I would rather point the finger, like all the medias, at Rap, Heavy metal, violent movies and terrible terrible video games that brainwash our bright and innocent children.

Sorry to all capes camping the place who could'nt do anything. Like Black Hornet said:"We were hesitant to get involved. As our mere presence might have started an outright rumble amongst the other factions." That and the fact that I'm pretty sure Vicious and I did some time together at one point in my past life. Oh well!

Like the saying goes... Its a dirty job, but somebody got to do it, right?

  2. Let me get this straight. We've been working on trying to get Vicious' force field down for almost a week but the LoS comes in and in less than a day, they take out the barrier, free the hostages, and take out Vicious? Along with that, up until now, Lex Luthor and his thugs have been chasing down "outlaw" vigilantes like his life depended on it and the one day who could've captured a huge chunk of us, he decides to give us all amnesty? You don't have to be Batman to figure this one out kids.

  3. ::encrypted Message from Rayven Man. Tampering with this data will result in fatal error.:: This is all staged. I have a feeling that this was all planned out from the start so that the MFC can get publicity. Also that whole amnesty is a huge lie, when one of the MFC's teams did try to capture a whole bunch of heroes and failed to do so when they came near Midtown metropolis. As far as Luthor running the MFC, all I have to say is that your going to slip up very soon just like how you were impeached as President of the United States. Justice and Peace will prevail, quote the Rayven Man, Nevermore.

  4. LOL Rayven Man. Last thing I heard you say was: "I'm going in"... And guess what? you didn't get in son. You are the one who is sooooo hungry for publicity.

And by the way, Sir Edgar Allan Poe wrote :Quote the RAVEN, nevermore. See , so hungry for attention that not only you try to steal the big bat light by shadowing him, you now try to make famous writers quote yours. Whats next? you gonna tell us you'r the inventor orange juice?

  5. A silhouette fades away into the twilight of veracity and mendacity. Baptized a novel expectation in the search of the obscurity in which it came form. It is nothing more than a stagnate reflection of words past, long forgotten in the churned accumulation of point in moments. To catch a glimpse through the spurious concentrating of lies, hiding behind a sickly sweet façade. Will they steal our souls? Not possible… save for the wretched minority.

  8. you capes make me sick, first you hate us because we used to "hurt" the innocent, now you hate us because we could do what you claim to be all about, SAVING PEOPLE!! maybe if you spent more time trying to follow the law then whining about it you could have been the ones who saved the day.

  9. i'm getting really sick & tired of that damn MFC team. yes i'm glad none of the hostages or mayor but are we forgetting this is a team of murders for god sake. they should have arrested him & had him transported to strikers island. we could've found out a lot more than just the death of him. just remember most of them are from the legion of sin.

  10. Killing viscous was unintended. At the same time unavoidable. I've heard many of you capes capes talking about slaying in cold blood and issue threats across the board. Are we not men? throwing stones at while having a glass house Is deplorable.
