Early this morning, our senior editor here at the DP Blog offices received an encrypted email from a possibly new vigilante group who are calling themselves "The Void." The sender of this message had a rather bold proclamation that he made and we feel like this is something that should be shared with all of our loyal readers.
The following is from the encrypted email:
"The Void is here.
The Peacekeepers, Vanguardians, and other pretenders have had their time. I am putting them on notice. The old guard has failed us time and time again. They can't keep their members, or keep control of current members mouths.
I have contacts inside. I have recruited a former Vanguardian and will do my best to take what quality heroes they have left. If there are any.
The world needs heroes, not fat cats collecting applications with approved or denied stamps. You are not immune Super Reporter. You will spread the word of Dissent. Let the world know, if you are a hero it is your duty to fill The Void. If not, it will swallow you whole. We are heroes, and other heroes must be held accountable. You must answer the call. It is your duty. A thirst for justice is all that is required to be one of us.
Our time is now."
Very ominous indeed. We also took special notice of the statement, "you will spread the word of Dissent." Is this the leader of this new group? When we attempted to reply to the message, our hard drive wiped clean the message and any copies of the email that might have been floating around on anyone else's computer. As always, we'll attempt to get more info and make it available to you as we receive it.

ReplyDeleteWhat is the MPD doing? Why are they not bringing in these vigilante groups to face true justice at the hands of the American Legal System? Are they really our allies? Do you really think so? Of course not! They keep their identities secret so they don't have to answer to us. They hide themselves in shadow so they can commit heinous actions while the authorities turn a blind eye! Who KNOWS how much they pay the police in bribes! The time of vigilantism is over! It is time for us to strike back at these so-called heroes and make sure TRUE justice is served! -KP

Considering that was a threat against another man expressing his First Amendment rights, it just goes to prove how cruel you so-called heroes truly are. ReplyDeleteHow you so-called heroes never learn. To strike down the wicked is to become wicked yourself. What is to stop you from carrying out this crusade against anyone who should commit a crime? The young boy who steals food to feed the family who cannot afford it? Would you pierce his heart with a bow as well? Would you rob a child of his life just because he committed a crime? When does the cycle end? Should the entire populace live in fear of you extremist methods? And what of the authorities? Do you believe they will turn a blind eye to your misdeeds just because you fight for your own twisted view of justice? I don't think so. -KP
ReplyDeleteThere are limits villian. A child in those circumstances is not truly wicked at heart. And that is where I make my final judgement. I can see into ones heart and soul and judge if they are truly wicked. I am not an extremist or a monster like you say I am. But I will look into every criminal and villians eyes and judge what their punishment will be accordingly. If they are just a victim of circumstance or their is still good in their soul they will be left on GCPD's doorstep. If they are truly corrupt and wicked then and only then is their life forfeit.
ReplyDeleteTo strike down those wicked is to become them? There is some truth there. As I have become a demon, and strike down those who be wicked, so do I become even more of a fiend? Perplexing… My actions are nothing more than misunderstood outcome. Though you chose not to know, or rather chose not to value, I find no validity in making you understand. Your stance is compelling, yes, still I would continue as I am. I would pose this to you all the same. Do you know what it is to lose everything and gain nothing? Would you fight if your life were threatened, could you take a life if yours were in danger? Would you loose your will to endure? Doubtful. What we aim to do is safeguard, in spite of this it is accounted with foregone conclusion. In this conflict, the actuality of moral and immoral is leisurely vanishing out of description. As you may consider my actions to be wicked…I view your words as sin.

Or to say enough is enough and take a stand against the truly wicked to protect the innocent. As a wise man once said "all it takes for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing."
