Fear Realized !

Following up on a story recently featured by the Daily Planet, Green Lantern called on all available heroes to assist in apprehending Dr. Jonathon Crane, aka The Scarecrow, before he could receive a yellow Sinestro Corps ring. We are sad to report that the heroes were unable to intercept the power ring or the Scarecrow.

A massive battle took place in Gotham city between the Sinestro Corps and many of the new heroes that have recently filled the city. It is being reported by that some of these new heroes were killed and/or seriously injured.

By the time Green Lanterns arrived it was too late. If the deaths and injuries of these new heroes weren't bad enough, the Scarecrow now wields the power of a yellow Sinestro Corps ring.
Commissioner James Gordon, of the G.C.P.D., has said that a statement will be forthcoming once all the details have been gathered and a plan of attack has been devised. We'll continue to provide coverage on this situation as it develops. Bob Harley signing out......
