G.C.P.D. Holds Press Conference !

This past Saturday the G.C.P.D. held a press conference at the Gotham S.C.U. (Special Crimes Unit) to address the Scarecrow situation currently plaguing the City.

At 1:00 pm Commissioner James Gordon addressed the press and did not take questions regarding their plans of handling the matter. "We're asking all residents of the East End to remain indoors, and to in no way confront the villain known as the Scarecrow. We are currently preparing a plan to apprehend Dr. Crane, but until it is finalized we need your continued patience and support." Then came the shocker of the press conference:  "Although we have a standing order to arrest the vigilante called Batman, we require his insight and knowledge of Dr. Crane in order to bring him to justice. Therefore, we are asking all M.F.C. personnel, specifically, the "Cape Killer Unit", to stand down until Scarecrow has been captured. Extreme situations call for extreme measures. We will release more information when we can. Thank you." The announcement sent the room into a frenzy. How will the M.F.C. respond to this request ? Will the Cape Killer Unit truly stand down ? Only time will tell. We can confirm however, that Commissioner Gordan did have a meeting with Batman. Our affiliates, the Gotham Gazette, was able to get this picture of the aforementioned meeting.
