Senator John Boehner Meets with LexCorp Lobbyist

Senator John Boehner (R) was seen leaving the Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, MD after catching an early morning round of golf with well known LexCorp Lobbyist, Jason Welgam. It has not been publicly stated why Senator Boehner would be seen with a representative from LexCorp but our sources inside the White House believe that it has a lot to do with the Senator's recent public comments about the protest against superhumans last week and also the fact that Senator Boehner plans on introducing some type of legislation on superhuman activity. We will make sure to give more info as the details come on in on today's senate meeting.

Med Staff Search Frantically for Deacon

Several members of The Coalition were admitted to S.T.A.R. Labs superhuman medical facility on March 4th after a skirmish with the Destruction Kings, the legion believed to be largely responsible for the for the abduction of JLA member, Steel. When the nursed came by on Sunday to perform their hourly check on the members on March 5th, Deacon was found to be missing from his room along with all of his gear. Nurse Amy Winan commented that while Force, Aduro, and Demerol's injuries had them in critical condition when they arrived to the ICU, Deacon had already stabilized and was already forming scar tissue on some of his wounds. We'll give more details as the situation develops.

423 Confirmed Dead in Federal Building Attack
At least 400 people, including women and children, were confirmed killed today in the aftermath of the Dr. Manhattan Federal Building explosion in Metropolis, making it the single worst act of superhuman terrorism ever.
Passers by at the area reported that the explosion caused a huge fire that tore through stalls and engulfed vehicles and people. A huge plume of putrid black smoke spiraled into the air.
Fire engines battled to put out the flames as dozens of ambulances and pick-up trucks ferried the wounded to hospital and civilian and superhuman volunteers wrapped charred bodies in carpets for transport to the city’s overflowing morgues.
