Sources now tell us that three days ago, military personal outside Area 51 stood in shock and awe as a nearby light erupted from the ground and into space. Many scientists near the base said the damage caused was too great to be just “light” and suggested that it may have been a “Magnetic Energy Vortex”. Several soldiers were injured as nearby vehicles began to fly towards the beam of light knocking them unconscious; one onlooker had this to say:
“I was just on my regular patrol when suddenly I felt the ground beneath my feet shake, I turned around and saw huge flash of light, one of the soldiers shouted “nuke” which instantly made me panic, but the light headed towards the sky making the clouds circle around it, our vehicles floated away towards it circling around....I thought I was going to die.”
The cause of the light is said to be unknown at this stage but images received from satellites showed Super Villain Atomic Theory flying over the Area 51 base heading towards the destination where the light erupted. This comes days after he sent a pirate broadcast to Gotham and Metropolis City warning Heroes that their lives are in danger.
Superman later attended the site and found what he reported as “An unidentified symbol” left etched into the ground, we asked the Man of Steel for his thoughts on the incident:
“After inspecting the area Atomic Theory was nowhere to be found, his involvement in the matter is something which has to be determined. What was left in the area however was an unidentified symbol which I have not seen before, when we find out more we shall let you know.”
Is Atomic Theory behind the incident? Will it prove dangerous for earth and its heroes? Only time will tell.
