During the mid-afternoon of Wednesday, sources say several superheroes disrupted a HIVE operation in downtown Metropolis. While the swift appearance of dozens of superheroes was enough to contain the event, sources inside STAR Labs tell us that this incident may have a lot to do with the sudden appearance of costumed heroes en masse as of late. While this man was unidentified, he apparently played a critical role in the disruption of the HIVE's plans as he held off the bulk of the forces until other superheroes arrived. He vanished soon after the incident and was not available for comment.
