Editorial: Maybe They Got What They Deserved...

It's me again folks. James Gadney is here to say what most of you are thinking but are too afraid to say. Today, I want to talk about the recent string of revelations of some so-called super heroes' identities. I think the Washington Post did exactly what the ethics of journalism demands that they we as journalists should do when presented with information such as that which was printed. (continued on page 12)

When a person commits a crime, you expose them to the world. What's that you say? "Mr. Gadney, they wouldn't be heroes if they committed crimes!" Hogwash I say. Because the simple act of putting on a mask and going out your bedroom window at night to go punch people in the face is premeditated assault and most heroes makes this decision every night. One hero made a valid point. He said, "you live by the sword, you die by the sword." How right you are sir! A cape with some sense! Anyway, it is always said to hear when someone is killed in a violent crime but vigilantes deserve what they get! You can't do it the right way and become sanctioned by the federal government like the Peacekeepers or F.L.A.G. No, no, no! You have to take the law into your own hands. The Elementals had this coming, groups like The Others, The Coalition, and those teen punks, The Renegades have it coming too. Speaking of the Renegades, what's the age of their oldest memeber? 12? Young ingrates like that should not be deciding who the criminals are and which people aren't criminals. Stop acting like you're above the law just because you have powers or special abilities. You register with the government, become sanctioned so our department of defense can find actual threats to our national security and you become accountable for all the collateral damage you will inevitable cause because of your inability to recognize a real threat from a stupid one. If I knew all of your identities, I'd purchase every page on this damned paper to print everyone of you felons' identities for everyone to see because most of you heroes are really cowards and won't really stand up for the little man when it counts. That's what Mr. Gadney thinks.

  3. Are you smoking crack, old man? You're lucky I recognize the difference between "real threats and stupid ones," otherwise I'd be down at that building right now taking all the "J", "A", and "G" keys off your keyboard. And for good measure, I'd slap you across the face with it too! Hmmmm.... was that a bit too random? Meh....
