Earlier today, Metropolis General Hospital found itself in a state of near-chaos as patients in the new Lex Luthor Research Wing were terrorized by Doctor Psycho. (continued on page 12)
Supergirl was initially dispatched by the Justice League to handle the problem before it could grow out of hand. However, Doctor Psycho had planned for that and was able to capture her and hold her captive.With the other heroes fighting against Braniac's invasion force, freshmen hero Code Blue sped toward the commotion. We caught up with the hero soon after he emerged from the hospital.
"It wasn't easy. I had to subdue the patients without harmin' them. Doctor Psycho had them confused. They weren't responsible for their actions. Once I found Supergirl, we were able to take Doctor Psycho down pretty easily."
When asked how he was able to withstand the mad doctor's psychic attacks, Code Blue revealed that he is also a high-level telepath and able to hold his own in mental battles.We were able to reach Supergirl for comment as well.
"It's never fun being the one rescued, as opposed to the one doing the rescuing. But at least it was by someone so handsome." We attempted to contact Lex Luthor and LexCorp for comment, but received no response.
Before night fell, repair crews were already beginning cleanup from the significant damage left by the conflict. Patients and workers at MetGen can rest easy, knowing that they are protected by the ever-vigilant hero: Code Blue.
