New Dynamic Duo?

Recent information has been brought to us concerning an incident that occurred several weeks ago, but answers some questions concerning the masked vigilante, and co-leader of Meta Justice, Superpatriot.  In our profile story, we mentioned that Superpatriot had been seen investigating the several Brainiac ships hovering over parts of Metropolis and Gotham.  There was much speculation on the reasoning behind this intense scrutiny of the ships that ranged from a possible attack on one of them by Meta Justice or simply a probing of defenses.  We now have an answer.

 Through eyewitness accounts along with several amateur photographs to help describe the incident, we at the Daily Planet have learned that in an early morning, lone man attempt, Superpatriot attacked the Brainiac ship hovering near the Little Bohemia police department.  In an incredible display of power, Superpatriot focused a fire blast directly into the shields of the ship punching a hole through it just as the main gun on the ship fell from the sky.  He then flew at an incredible speed through the hole and back out a moment later with someone accompanying him along with dozens of Brainiac robots close behind.  On the streets of Little Bohemia, an amateur photographer was able to capture several images of Superpatriot and this young new hero with him battling their robotic adversaries and eventually destroying them all.

While no information has been given to us at this time and all requests from Meta Justice and Superpatriot have so far gone unanswered, it is clear by the similarity in costumes between the pair that this was a personal mission for Superpatriot considering the risk that was involved in its undertaking.  It is also unclear as to why no other appearances of this young new hero have been reported.  However, one could speculate that with the VRA looming over every superhuman's head, the young hero has gone into hiding.  As always, we at the Daily Planet will bring you new information when it is made available.
