Senator Boehner emotional after VRA passes through Congress
In what has to be one of the biggest swerves in U.S. history, all members of the U.S. Congress unanimously passed the Vigilante Registration Act (the bill's name has actually changed during the House discussion. It was first called the Super Human Registration Act but it was amended to encompass all individuals, meta or not, who would take the law into their own hand) and now the bill makes its way up to the Senate. Senator John Boehner (R) was too emotional to speak with us but promised an interview at a later date.
While the bill was expected to pass through Congress, no one ever thought that the entire House of Representatives would be so bipartisan on this piece of legislation. Many of the congressman and congresswoman who were thought to have opposed the bill, voted yes this afternoon, albeit reluctantly, to move the bill to the House Senate.
Lex Luthor was on hand for the vote and was seen to be very pleased with the House's decision. Mr. Luthor went on to say, "This's a landmark day in American history! Americans are standing up to all these meta-humans and there super powered hijinks and are finally saying that enough is enough!!" We'll stay on this story and give you up-to-date coverage on it as more details are uncovered.

ReplyDeleteIts pretty obvious that us , "BAD GUYS", won't give in of our own will.
I would like to hear the goody two shoes "heroes" position on that. Is that what you people stand for? Being marked like cattles?

ReplyDeleteThe issue stresses me out at night. Hard to sleep knowing people don't trust you enough to carry out what you thought was your new responsibility. Maybe we are doing something wrong here? I'm already trying my hardest...
what is the U.S. coming to for them to pass such a law

The Nazis established many new anti-Jewish laws. These were introduced slowly at first, so that the civilian population would not realise the extent of the Nazi party's anti-Semitism. Below is a chart showing a small selection of the 2,000 Nazi anti-Jewish decrees passed between 1933- http://www.bl.uk/learning/histcitizen/voices/info/decrees/decrees.html
