Fear Realized !

Following up on a story recently featured by the Daily Planet, Green Lantern called on all available heroes to assist in apprehending Dr. Jonathon Crane, aka The Scarecrow, before he could receive a yellow Sinestro Corps ring. We are sad to report that the heroes were unable to intercept the power ring or the Scarecrow.

Cosmic Event worries even Experts

While many Doomsday theorists are predicting an extinction-level event tomorrow, many experts differ on what could actually take place tomorrow when the effects of raw cosmic energy bombard the earth unfiltered through the rupture in our ozone layer. Theories from planetwide radiation sickness, mild sunburn to mutations seen worldwide have all been predicted. A team of earth's foremost heroes, working with STAR Labs and some of science's most brilliant minds has assembled to mount a last ditch effort to seal or fortify the rupture.

DCUO Goes Free-to-Play Nov. 1st!

Heroes and Villains rejoice!DCUO officially goes Free-to-Play on November 1st! Telll a friend to tell a friend! SOE is also upping the ante by allowing the game to be downloaded for free from the Playstation Store. Hopefully many of our inactive and reserve heroes and villains will see this as a opportunity to pick up the cape again and don the mask to celebrate. We can't wait to see some of our old friends, enemies and the overall population of DCUO increase significantly.

In Daily Planet news, STAR Labs now reports that the Ozone rupture discovered by the hero Valiant is spreading. Analysts are projecting that cosmic rays from a solar flare event will shower the earth on November 1st. With the rupture leaving Earth unprotected, the effects of this event have the ability to cause death, radiation poisoning and may even trigger mutations in some individuals.

Who is The Panther?

There have been whispers of a new vigilante who scours the streets of Gotham in search of criminals and evildoers. The Panther. It is said that he possesses the powers of the Panther Spirit and is descended from native american lore. Criminals felled by this unknown hero are found totally paralyzed by fear and almost begging to be taken to the safety of a jail. Is he hunting Gotham's underworld one criminal at a time?

Only time will tell.

This Just In : Green Lantern Calls On Earth's Heroes For Assistance !

The Daily Planet has just learned of an urgent communique sent from Justice League member, Green Lantern, to all available heroes.

Stormbringer helps take down Bizarro clone!

The First Lady of the Coalition, Stormbringer, lent a crucial assist to two rather unknown and beginner vigilante teams in taking down a rampaging Batzarro in the Otisburg District of Gotham. Wanton destruction ensued as the two heroes of the night made a vain effort to take down the crazed lunatic. 

Blind Justice foils bank robbery

Metropolis heroine Blind Justice appeared at the downtown branch of Metropolis Trust just in time to foil a robbery attempt by a group of armed commandos. The organized group raided the bank just after 5pm and while they didn't spend more than three minutes inside, it was more than long enough for the heroine to swoop down on top of their getaway car and disable it with a flurry of her trademark throwing sai. By the time police arrived all six of the men were incapacitated and the stolen money was in a neat pile near the beautiful heroine.
