F.L.A.G. Averts Gorilla Island Missile Crisis
Department of Defense contacts confirmed this morning that a small contingent of F.L.A.G. operatives were dispatched to Gorilla Island around midnight Sunday to thwart a quickly escalating missile crisis involving a potential new type of weapon of mass destruction. D.o.D. refused to acknowledge the details of their involvement or their relationship with the fledgling super group, but The Daily Planet was able to contact none other than Justice League veteran Martian Manhunter for more information. Heroes Coordinate Evening Attack on Villain Safehouse inside LexCorp Tower
In what can only be seen as a response to the killing of some of their brethren, with The Elemental Killings and the appearance of the power-enhancing drug "Burn" on our city streets, heroes matched their afternoon attack with an evening one on a previously unknown villain safehouse within Lexcorp Tower. Apparently the good guys are pissed off.
A major contingent of heroes led by Year Zero and Alucard of the Almost Heroes assaulted a known villain safehouse in search of the power-enhancing street drug known as "Burn". More than 25 heroes gathered in Centennial Park not far from the statue of Superman and mounted their attack in search of the drug that has been in heavy use recently. (continued on page 2)

Character Breakdown: Ju-On

Power-Enhancing Drugs on the Streets of Gotham and Metropolis
The FDA has confirmed the rampant use of power-enhancing drugs in Gotham and Metropolis. Much like the toxin that the mercenary Bane uses, these outlawed and dangerous drugs are said to boost the ability of fire-based powers and other abilities, but the side-effects are allegedly deadly. While the technical term for the drug appears to be Geoxy Lactose Iodine Tetanoine Creatine Hydrolyse. The street term currently in use is "glitch" or "burn". While no one is sure who the developer of this drug is, known users include the popular villain group The Legion of Sin.

Who are The Legion of Sin?
Previously unmentioned in most super-powered circles until a few weeks ago, a group of little-known supervillains has taken the mantle as the world's biggest threat to freedom. According to several news reports, these villains have soundly defeated most of the superhero groups they have encountered, with their sheer power and the strength of their numbers. Rarely seen in small groups, this group of evildoers reportedly had an encounter with the currently-crusading Coalition that left both groups licking their wounds and carrying away unconscious members.
