Heru and the Legion of Sin confront Superpatriot and Meta Justice

Not one to waste any time, Heru of the Legion of Sin, began the hunt for un-registered super humans by going after an old national hero, Superpatriot and the rest of Meta Justice. It's no secret that the two teams have some very bad blood between them. So far from what we can tell from the reports gathered, the MFC Cape Killers were called to Star Labs after reports came in that Superpatriot launched a bus over the Star labs building screaming at the top of his lungs "for Burns."

Metahuman Hate Crime?

Numerous media outlets are reporting about an attack that may be charged as a hate crime against metahumans. The question is, are metahumans now considered a social class?

According to reports, the hero Black Azure was attacked and badly beaten by a group of unidentified supervillains who then witnesses claim repeated "We don't like your kind! You're trash!" Does this qualify as the first case of a Metahuman Hate Crime? Stay Tuned.

Superpatriot Storms the DP Blog Offices!

It was a normal day like any other day here at the DP Blog. Writers were busy punching their keyboards trying to edit and proofread their stories for submission, field reporters running in and out of my office giving me the latest reports.  With the hectic day turning into a hectic night, I decided to go to the roof and get some fresh air and go over some notes in private.  Just as I was half way through my notes, a gust of wind almost blew the papers from my hand.  After collecting my papers off the ground, including myself, I looked up to see a strongly built figure, almost like a statue, standing on the ledge abvoe me. It was Superpatriot! As I stood there slack jawed, the Red, White, and Blue Crusader jumped down and pushed my glasses back on my nose and said, "I think you have some questions for me. I'm ready to answer them."

BREAKING NEWS!!: Legion of Sin now a Force for Good?

The VRA and MFC  received a boost in firepower today, as Director Luthor shocked the world during a press conference in Metropolis' Centennial Park this morning. Many Washington insiders felt that Luthor was under pressure from President Suarez to increase the amount of super powered personnel working for the MFC due to the GCPD and MPD challenge.

The Vigilante Registration Act went into law a little over 2 and a half weeks ago. The presence of MFC Enforcers and Cape Killer Units has been substantial around the country. You would think that this increase in man power patrolling the streets would curb crime. You may be wrong. False Hope, Black Lanterns, Versatile Gaming showdown with the Assassins' League and The Coalition

Last night at around 8:15pm, a large group of villains attempted to steal several containers containing PETN, a well known explosive that is one of the most powerful high explosives known, with a relative effectiveness factor of 1.66, and favorite of terroists, that was scheduled to be shipped from Ace Chemicals last night. Two guards and 3 engineers were killed during the theft.

A Meeting with Death Drive

Our star reporter, Kristen, was able to land another interview with the normally media shy league, the Coalition. Since becoming one of the many targets on the MFC's most wanted lists, the league has been a little more public with their thoughts, especially those concering the Vigilante Registration Act. Kristen had the chance to sit down with Death Drive, one of the leagues more eloquently spoken members, and discuss some matters he felt were important.

Davey Jones escapes from Arkham Asylum

 The crazed serial killer Davey Jones, who's 3-month killing spree had Gotham residents afraid to leave their homes over 10 years ago, has escaped from the high security wing in Arkham. Sources tell us that minutes before his escape, security cameras on his wing were disabled and when authorities went to do a headcount they discovered no trace of the notorious slasher.

The GCPD was unavailable for comment at this time but has scheduled a noon press conference regarding the escape.

Organization XIII Destroyed by MFC Forces?

We've gotten word that many members of Organization XIII clashed with MFC Cape Killers over the weekend and the aftermath isn't pretty.

Meta Militia Leader, The Flameman, Joins the Ranks of the Coalition

GCPD and MPD challenges VRA

In another strange turn of events, the Gotham City Police Dept and Metropolis Police Dept have followed suit with the rest of their respective states as the only regions in the country to not only repute the Vigilante Registration Act, but also take the federal government to the Supreme Court over it.

Who is The Rayven Man?

There is a new vigilante running the streets of Gotham in an attempt to fight crime and beat back corruption, and has taken an obvious cosmetic cue from the family of the Dark Knight. He has been reported to go by the moniker, the Rayven Man, who has been reported assisting the Huntress and Nightwing on several occasions.

Superman comments on VRA

In a recent Time Magazine article, The Man of Steel tentatively lent his support to the controversial legislation that is taking hold. "Whatever people may feel individually, it's important to support the spirit of the law and nothing else. The law is intended to protect citizens and no one can argue that." Superman hinted at not being completely comfortable with MFC Leadership but stressed that he and the JLA would support the VRA 100%.

Leader of Meta Justice rescued in Bold Rescue Attempt

In an early morning raid during, a costumed figure baring a resemblance to Superpatriot led an attack on Lexcorp and MFC forces that were transporting Meta Justice founder, Flamegirl, to the more secure facilities at Stryker's Island.

Formal charges filed againt Destiny, Hero Jailed

Sources are now reporting that formal charges (manslaughter) were filed against the superhero, Destiny, who was involved in the accidental killing of a bystander just a few days ago.

Who's next on the MFC's crackdown lists?

On the heels of Black Falcon's latest skirmish with VRA enforcers at around 1:37am, the streets of Metropolis erupted in another battle at 2:15am as MFC units made a vain attempt to bring in two more VRA violators. Coalition members Deacon and Phipher, who or more commonly seen in Gotham, were around town for reasons unknown when the MFC strike force came down on them with everything that they had. The two outlaws battled with the strike team for almost an hour before making a hasty retreat.

The Peacekeepers in Disarray?

I'm sure many of you are wondering, The Peacekeepers, where are they? You usually see them everywhere from T.V. to newspapers but as of recent, they have been unusually quite, save for their interview during the clean up of the Federal Building Attack.

Nightmarish midnight battle over Metropolis. Missiles strike sleeping city. Black Falcon Again? Extensive Damage at Lex Corp Tower.

Shortly after midnight witnesses report a winged woman pursued by two Apache helicopters with full military armament. The copters were joined by 40-50 black MFC Aerial Power Armor Units. The pursuit was low level and the winged woman was clearly using the city’s buildings as cover. The Apache’s fired missiles at close range striking a number of buildings including the Wesley Memorial, the Baxter building, and the Peacekeepers Headquarters Gift shop was completely wiped out in a direct hit. Police say it was a miracle no one was hurt. The winged woman, believed to be Black Falcon then flew between the copters.

4 Bystanders Hurt, 1 Killed at Superbattle

Authorities are reporting that a battle between the superhero trio Swift Justice and an unidentified supervillain has resulted in the 4 serious injuries and one death. While the villain fled the scene, reports are pouring in that the group's strongman Density, may have been responsible. Eyewitnesses on the scene detailed the event: "That strong guy picked up a car and threw it at him, right? But the guy flew out of the way and it hit those poor people at the bus stop across the street. I was like Oh My God!"

BREAKING NEWS!!! The Vigilante Registration Act will become law at 12am March 17th

After the recent incidents involving vigilantes and especially after yesterday's mid-day massacre, President Suarez has finally signed the VRA into law.

Wayne Enterprises Fires Black Falcon

In an early morning press conference today, Wayne Enterprises' CEO, Lucius Fox announced they were terminating their business contract with Black Falcon. Falcon had represented Wayne technologies for two years in commercials, photo shoots, and appearances. Wayne Ent. would not reveal why they suddenly ended the contract, but rumors of a Black Falcon attack on an MFC armored personnel vehicle may have led to the decision. 

Black Falcon has not been sighted for almost three days.

Massive battle in Centennial Park, 159 people found dead, 53 severely injured

The day was relatively quite on March 15th in Metropolis' famous park where tourists and local residents were having picnics, playing frisbee, and admiring Superman's famous statue when according to some of the survivors, a young girl fell over with a gaping hole where her stomach used to be. The perpetrators of this heinous crime was a new legion going by the name of "The Scumbags."

Peacekeeper representative seen at meeting for possible support of the VRA

Earlier, a private meeting was held to discuss the idea of foreign support for the VRA but who was this mysterious meeting between? That formula turns out to be MFC + VRA Fundamentalists and a group known as the Calabans? One of our inside reporters was able to establish a brief communication before the meeting was adjourned. No definite decisions made but could the VRA be gaining the trust of otherworld visitors? Our reporter also noted one of the Peacekeepers' Honor Guard members was at this conference. 31st Cabalist was participating in the discussion, whether that be an activist against or for the VRA...only time can tell. More information as revealed.

Lex Luthor to be announced as the head of MFC?

On the eve after Black Falcon's attack on MFC enforcers,  President Suarez is rumored to be announcing Lex Luthor as the Organizational and Logistics Chief of the Meta-human Federal Council (MFC). A lot of people question why the President would appoint someone with such a well-known background for hating anything that's not "natural." President Suarez denounced the rumors and said that all of this is hearsay and that no decisions have been made as far as announcing administrative positions in the new branch of government. He also added in his usual demeanor, "Hell! I haven't even signed the dang bill into law yet! Ha, haa! I'll be announcing my final decision tomorrow with an afternoon press conference." The President declined any further comment. We'll release more info as the situation develops.

MFC Anti-Vigilante Force Attacked. Vigilante, Black Falcon to blame?

An MFC armored personnel carrier on patrol for would be VRA violators was destroyed this past night by an unknown meta-human attacker. The armored personnel carrier was destroyed and seemingly falling apart. The metal was so brittle that when the MFC recovery team tried to haul it out, it began to shatter like it was glass.

Signs are showing that the bill will go into law.

Even though President Suarez hasn't given any official word on whether or not he'll be signing the VRA legislation, we have it on good authority that anti-vigilante teams are being set up in order to enforce the new law.

Which side of will you choose?

Unless you've been living under a rock lately then you should know what has been going on all week. The House of Representatives made it happen. The passing of the VRA is only a matter of time. For those of you who don't, I'm assistant editor-in-chief James Gadney and I for one am totally for the VRA.

Celebrations erupt after VRA finally passes Senate

Applauds and cheers roared through D.C. today as Americans celebrated the passing of the Vigilante Registration Act through the Senate today. While the bill flew by the Congress relatively fast, the U.S. Senate had to have a rare weekend session in order to get the number of votes needed. The bill passed the senate 51-49. Now the country hangs on as President Suarez has to now make his decision on whether to veto the bill or not.

Today in Smallville, Kansas, a group of rouge LexCorp Scientists released a biological WMD in the small town that had strains of an advanced virus that contained DNA samples of the monster, Doomsday.

Late last night two of Gotham's finest were killed during a brazen bank robbery. Officer Juan Sanchez, age 36, a father of two young children and Officer Rick Vaughn, 24, who was on his first week on the job, were both killed witnesses say by members of the mysterious villain legion WAR. The villains also escaped Gothams' first national bank with an estimated 11 million dollars.

The VRA violate heroes' civil liberties?

An anonymous source in the White House manged to get us a copy of the VRA bill that's making its way up to the senate floor today. We'll save our own opinions so that this article remains un-bias but please give us your thoughts on this piece of legislation.

Billionaire Playboy, Heru-Sa-Aset Injured During a Night Out in Town

Sources confirmed this morning that Billionaire Playboy Heru-Sa-Aset was injured during a recent siege of the popular Midtown Night Club, Club Lex. One witness went on record and stated, "Mr. Sa-Aset tried his best to protect the patrons from the falling debris and sheer irresponsible actions taken by, Meta Justice, Dream team, Straw Hats, Team Supreme And Divine Knights. Super Human Registration Acts goes up in front of Congress Today

Today the SHRA (Super Human Registration Act) was presented to the U.S. House of Representatives today by Senator John Boehner (R) and co-sponsered by Senator Dick Durbin (R). The 826 page document is expected to be fast tracked through Congress by March 10th and to the Senate for final deliberation by the end of the business week (March 11th).
